ST. PAUL, Minn. – On Tuesday, members of the Minnesota House were officially sworn in to begin the 2019-2020 Minnesota legislative session. Among these was state Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL – Roseville) who begins her second term in the Legislature.
“I’m honored to represent my community at the State Capitol and take the trust they’ve placed in me very seriously,” said Rep. Becker-Finn, who represents Vadnais Heights, Little Canada, Gem Lake, and parts of Roseville and Shoreview. “I look forward to the work ahead as we seek to deliver results based upon what we all value as Minnesotans. By renewing our commitment to excellent schools, affordable, accessible health care, clean air and water, and economic security for families, we can build a bright future for everyone in the state.”
This session, Rep. Becker-Finn will serve as Vice Chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy Committee. Additionally, she will serve on the following committees: Environment and Natural Resources Finance Division; Rules and Legislative Administration Committee; Taxes Committee; and Veterans and Military Affairs Finance and Policy Division. Rep. Becker-Finn was also recently elected by her peers to serve as an Assistant Majority Leader.
