SAINT PAUL, Minn. — Rep. Jamie Becker-Finn (DFL – Roseville) will travel to Germany to attend a renewable energy seminar as part of a delegation of 22 Minnesotans. The delegates will attend the annual Berlin Seminar on Energy Policy and tour successful renewable energy projects from July 13-20.
“I’m honored to be a part of Minnesota’s delegation that will attend the Berlin Seminar on Energy Policy,” said Rep. Becker-Finn. “Climate change impacts us all, but we can fight it more successfully together than we can alone. This is a great opportunity to learn more about Germany’s transition to clean energy. I look forward to using what we learn to create a thriving clean energy economy here in Minnesota.”
Minnesota and Germany have been clean energy partners since 2011. The University of Minnesota’s Institute on the Environment and Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy established the Berlin Seminar on Energy Policy in 2016.
