Dear Neighbor,
Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating, enjoying delicious food and spending quality time with family and friends.
It is a good chance to think about what is most important in our lives and remember that, despite the many challenges we face as a state and nation, we have many blessings to count. This includes the front-line workers who have gone above and beyond to serve us.
Thanksgiving also is a good time to lend a helping hand to those in need during the holidays. Our area has many helpful charities and non-profits and, if you’re able, please consider assisting however you can.
On a personal note, I want to express how thankful I am for my family and friends, and for the opportunity to represent the people of our region at the Capitol. I will never take for granted the incredible privilege to represent the residents of District 5A.
Look for more news from the Capitol as we get closer to the 2022 session, which starts in late January. As always, your input is appreciated.
