SAINT PAUL, MINN —Minneapolis State Representatives Fue Lee, Raymond Dehn, and State Senator Bobby Joe Champion are inviting residents of Senate District 59 to attend town hall meetings to discuss the 2017 legislative session and topics of special concern to the community this summer. Their first meeting will address legislative issues at the intersection of environmental justice, public health, and reducing pollution in our environment.
Northside residents are invited to join a town hall meeting on issues relating to the environment on Wednesday, July 19. All are welcome to attend with questions about impacts of the 2017 legislative session and special concerns regarding toxic lead in the environment, air pollution, water quality and other topics. Commissioners from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Minnesota Department of Health, and community activists have been invited to attend to provide information as well. They will provide information and take questions from members of the community. This event is free and open to the public and people are welcome to come and go as they please.
