A standing-room only crowd gathered in Minnetonka as people were eager to talk to their state lawmakers about what they want to happen at the Capitol this year.
State Sen. Steve Cwodzinski (DFL-Eden Prairie) of District 48 and Rep. Laurie Pryor (DFL-Minnetonka) of District 48A hosted a two-hour town hall session the morning of Saturday, Feb. 25, that easily could have stretched into the afternoon. “We’re just here today to listen to you,” Cwodzinski told the crowd. “You came to be heard.”
“We take this very, very seriously,” Pryor added. “This is very humbling to see so many people turn out.”
