SAINT PAUL, Minn. – On Tuesday, July 30, Rep. Laurie Pryor (DFL – Minnetonka) will host “A Community Conversation on Climate Change: Next Steps for Clean Energy” in Eden Prairie. The event, open to everyone in the community, will take place at the Eden Prairie Community Center in the Cambria Room from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
“This past legislative session, I was overwhelmed by the grassroots enthusiasm of Minnesotans of all ages and backgrounds motivated to take action to address the impact of climate change,” Rep. Pryor said. “Time is running out for us to advance solutions protecting our planet, and I’m looking forward a robust conversation about how we can work together to accomplish these.”
Community leaders joining Rep. Pryor for the event include Rep. Patty Acomb (DFL – Minnetonka) to discuss her "Solar for Schools" legislation, Eden Prairie Mayor Ron Case, Minnetonka City Councilmember Deb Calvert, and Eden Prairie City Councilmember PG Narayanan.
The event is free, and everyone in the community is invited to attend.
