Rep. Pryor

Neighbors,

Yesterday, the Minnesota House took action to prevent a wave of evictions while ensuring landlords are reimbursed for rent owed to them. We approved a roadmap to transition off the current residential eviction moratorium by ensuring renters have enough time to access federal funding for rental assistance when the COVID-19 related peacetime emergency ends.

All Budget Bills

Education Conference Committee

The Minnesota House has approved all our budget bills and conference committees will begin to meet. I have been appointed to serve on the Education conference committee and our process begins early next week to compare House and Senate versions of each measure and deliver a compromise for a final vote by both bodies. As vice-chair of the Early Childhood Finance and Policy Committee, I will advocate for our earliest learners and for all of our students to ensure they can succeed and thrive.

You can follow the daily legislative schedules, including all conference committee meetings here.

COVID-19 Vaccination Update

New data from the Minnesota Department of Health released shows more than 2.5 million Minnesotans have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Eligibility is expanding every day and more Minnesotans are getting appointments. Vaccines protect you and others and are a big step back to participating in activities we enjoy and spending time with people we love. You can check Minnesota’s COVID-19 mn.gov/vaccineconnector, call 833-431-2053 or ask your health insurance carrier to help you find out when, where, and how to get a vaccine.

You can learn the most recent statistics on who is getting vaccinating and other key data by clicking on this link.
