Neighbors, The Minnesota House Capital Investment Committee continued its statewide tour of Minnesota, visiting Eden Prairie last week to hear presentations about the Opus Public Space in Minnetonka, the Minnetonka Hopkins Crossroads Trail, and improvement needs for Hennepin Technical College. I am appreciative for their visit to our community to hear about projects to improve the business climate, our workforce of the future and important recreation opportunities. They have an enormous task ahead of them as they prioritize projects from all over the state to be included in the 2022 Bonding Bill. I will work with our local partners to emphasize to the committee the importance of our requests and will monitor their progress as the bill works its way through the legislative session.  Vaccine updates All adults 18 and older can now get a booster shot. I encourage everyone who is eligible to contact their health plan or nearest pharmacy to get your first or second dose, or your booster. And don’t forget to get your annual flu shot! Also, a reminder that eligible Minnesotans 12 and older can also get their first and second COVID-19 vaccines and as well as children aged 5-11. The state of Minnesota has launched a new webpage to help parents and guardians find a vaccine for children aged 5-11 and answer questions about the vaccine. You can also call the Minnesota Department of Health COVID-19 Public Hotline at 1-833-431-2053 Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sat., 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.  Minnesota Values Project Share your thoughts on how we can make Minnesota a better place to live, work, and play by taking the Minnesota Values Project Survey.
