Neighbors, The 2023 legislative session convened at the State Capitol on Tuesday, and we are already busy crafting legislation to help improve the lives of Minnesotans. This term I have the privilege of chairing the Education Policy Committee and we held our first hearing this week. Additionally, I will serve on the Education Finance and Human Services Finance committees. Moving Minnesota Forward This week, House and Senate DFLers announced our session priorities. We are united in our efforts to deliver on Minnesotans’ priorities. Protecting Our Democracy Today marks the second anniversary of the violent attack on the United States Capitol and attempts to block the certification of the presidential election. I look forward to voting on legislation to shore up protections for voters and election workers. Election priorities will make Minnesota a stronger state.
