SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Monday at noon in Saint Paul, the Minnesota House convened to begin the 2024 legislative session. Rep. Dave Lislegard (DFL – Aurora) issued the following statement.
“Minnesotans expect and deserve an effective, responsive state government, with legislators who put people before politics and work effectively to improve people’s lives. This session, I’ll be focused on Range First priorities for northern Minnesota communities, including funding important local projects in a strong capital investment package. I’ll also work to solve problems facing our region including the ambulance services crisis, the need for permitting and environmental review reform, our persistent child care shortage, ensuring School Resource Offices can do their jobs, harm resulting from wolf overpopulation, and other barriers to everyone having a better life.”
