Dear Neighbor,
From the Demuth family to you and yours, happy Thanksgiving and I hope you find time to reflect on the things you’re thankful for this holiday.
I hope you have a wonderful time celebrating, enjoying delicious food and spending quality time with family and friends. Thanksgiving is a good time to take a step back and think about what is most important in our lives and remember that, despite the many challenges we face as a state, nation, and personally, we have many blessings to count.
Thanksgiving also is a good time to lend a helping hand to those in need during the holidays. Our food shelves tend to feel extra demand this time of year so please consider donating and/or assisting however you are able.
On a personal note, I want to express how thankful I am for my family and friends, and for the opportunity to represent the people of District 13A. It is an incredible, humbling privilege to serve area residents in the House and I am beyond grateful for the continued support.
Look for more news from the Capitol as we get closer to the 2024 session, which starts in February. As always, your input is appreciated.
Hope you have a good Thanksgiving, please be safe if you are traveling and we’ll get back into legislative issues next time.
Sincerely,
Lisa
