St. Paul, MN - Today, Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) released the latest economic forecast, projecting a positive balance of $1.6 billion - no longer an anticipated shortfall. State Representative Dan Wolgamott (DFL - St. Cloud) released the following statement in response to the forecast:
“Today’s forecast shows that Minnesota is recovering, but not equally. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted all Minnesotans and every sector of our economy in some way, but there are those that have been hit much harder than others. With our state’s wealthiest corporations doing better than ever, I’ll be dedicating my efforts in the Minnesota House to ensuring that they pay their fair share in building an economy that lifts up all Minnesotans, not just the rich and well-connected.”
