Wolgamott Weekly Update - Budget Listening Session with Lt. Governor Flanagan

Dear Granite City Neighbors, 

The Minnesota Legislature is back from our Easter and Passover Break, ready to spend the latter half of the legislative session working on our budget proposals. A budget is more than just numbers on a spreadsheet, it’s a commitment to our values, and my goal is to not only help St. Cloud and Minnesota get through this pandemic, but thrive after it ends. We’ve got a lot of important work ahead of us, and I want to hear from you. 

Next Tuesday, April 13, at 6pm, I’ll be holding a virtual Listening Session on Minnesota’s state budget with Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan. Like I’ve done with past events, I want to use this as an opportunity for our community to have a direct impact on our work at the State Capitol.

We’ll be hosting the event on Zoom and streaming simultaneously on my Facebook page. To participate on the Zoom call, you can RSVP by emailing your name and address to kyle.smith@house.mn, or by clicking here. Feel free to also share any questions you may have on the state’s budget ahead of time.
