St. Paul, MN - Today, Governor Tim Walz, House Speaker Melissa Hortman, and Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka announced a bipartisan agreement on budget targets for conference committees finalizing Minnesota’s two-year state budget. State Representative Dan Wolgamott (DFL - St. Cloud) released the following statement on the agreement:
“Today’s budget agreement sets up the framework for a bipartisan state budget that will help Minnesotans recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, and provides the necessary funds for lifting up students, families, workers, and small businesses. Thanks to the House DFL, we’re making historic investments in education, which will help St. Cloud’s E-12 students bounce back after an extremely difficult year.”
