Dear Neighbor,
I would like to wish you and your family a blessed Easter/Passover holiday. After a year of many people being separated from their church and community, this is a much-needed occasion to reunite, and I hope you are able to do so.
When the Legislature resumes business after the holiday, we will be looking at only six full weeks remaining in the session before we are scheduled to adjourn May 17. With the lack of progress on major issues, especially in setting a new two-year state budget, there will be an awful lot to do in a short amount of time.
Watch for more updates breaking down the issues as things develop in the upcoming days and weeks. And, as always, please let me know how I can help.
