News from the Governor
Yesterday, the Governor announced an extension of his Stay at Home Executive Order, asking Minnesotans to limit movements outside of their homes until May 18. The Governor also announced that starting on Monday, retail businesses and other non-critical businesses may begin offering curbside pick-up and delivery. Additionally, he’s encouraging Minnesotans to use a mask when they can when out of the house.
We’re on the right path to reopen society and our economy safely and in a way that doesn’t jeopardize Minnesota’s progress flattening the curve and slowing the spread of COVID-19. Governor Walz created a road map of what this could look like as the virus is contained and our healthcare capacity is stable and well-equipped with personal protective equipment.
