Minnesota Asian Pacific Caucus Statement in Response to Sri Lanka Terrorist Attacks
ST. PAUL, MN – Minnesota's Asian Pacific Caucus today released the following statement in response to this weekend's terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka.
"Minnesota's Asian Pacific Caucus condemns the terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka over the weekend. We must join hands to root out the forces of evil and terror in all corners of the world. We stand with our Sri Lankan constituents in Minnesota as they mourn those who were killed or wounded, and will do all we can to support the community here."
The MAP Caucus members include Assistant Majority Leader Fue Lee (DFL - Minneapolis), MAP Caucus Chair Samantha Vang (DFL - Brooklyn Park) Rep. Kaohly Her (DFL- St. Paul), Rep. Tou Xiong (DFL - Maplewood), Rep. Jay Xiong (DFL- St. Paul), and Sen. Foung Hawj (DFL - St. Paul).
