Plymouth, Minn. – Governor Tim Walz announced today that he has included a local project championed by Representative Ginny Klevorn (DFL – Plymouth) in his 2020 Bonding proposal.
The Walz administration recommends $15 million for the Plymouth Creek Center project to fund design and construction costs for the expansion and renovation of the 20-year old multi-use facility. The total project cost is $52 million.
“Our Plymouth community is growing and so are the needs of our students and seniors,” Rep. Klevorn remarked. “An upgraded expansion of this regional asset would create many more incredible opportunities not only within the community, but for the 300,000 annual visitors as well. I applaud the Governor’s recommendation and will continue to advocate for this funding when the 2020 legislative session begins.”
