Also taking effect is the Prescription Drug Price Transparency Act. It will require drug manufactures to report the reasons for price increases and provide other detailed information about the cost of manufacturing, marketing, and distributing drugs. Additionally, the new law will require price transparency for existing drugs, any new drugs on the market, and newly acquired drugs. This is significant progress in our efforts to shine a light on high drug prices, and I will keep working on bipartisan solutions to lower prices of prescription medication our families, seniors, and veterans depend on. You can read more about these and other new laws here.
Plymouth Farmers Market Open
Plymouth's Farmers Market is in full swing! Stop by Parkers Lake Playfield for fresh produce and more each Wednesday from 2:30-6:30 p.m. through the end of September. While masks aren't required, please consider wearing one to help keep everyone safe and healthy. We all have our part to play to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by maintaining social distancing of up to six feet, wearing a mask, frequently washing our hands, and staying home and getting tested when sick.
