St. Paul, MN – Yesterday, House DFL Leader Melissa Hortman announced a bipartisan power-sharing agreement that allowed the Minnesota House to begin conducting business during Thursday’s floor session. Rep. Ginny Klevorn (DFL-Plymouth) released the following statement:
“As a mediator by profession, I’m glad both House Democrats and Republicans have come together to adopt a bipartisan co-governing model,” said Rep. Klevorn. “Minnesota is the North Star State. We value our democracy, the democratic process, and ensuring all of our residents have their voices heard. With the assurance from my GOP colleagues that a duly won election won’t be overturned, we can bring our in-district work to the Capitol and begin the legislative session in earnest.”
