SAINT PAUL, Minn. – The 2023 Minnesota legislative session convened Tuesday at noon in Saint Paul. Rep. Patty Acomb (DFL – Minnetonka) took the oath of office to begin her third term in the Minnesota House.
“I’m grateful to the people of District 45B for giving me the honor of serving them again at the State Capitol and advocating for the needs of our communities,” Rep. Acomb said. “With a DFL trifecta, this session presents an opportunity for lawmakers to address the challenges Minnesotans are facing including taking meaningful steps to address and combat climate change. I am excited to get to work delivering the results working people are counting on to improve their lives.”
This session, Rep. Acomb will chair the Climate and Energy Finance and Policy Committee, which she previously served on as vice-chair. In addition, Rep. Acomb will serve on the Health Finance and Policy Committee, the Sustainable Infrastructure Committee, and the Ways and Means Committee.
