St. Paul, Minn. – Representative Heather Edelson (DFL-Edina) will present a pair of bipartisan public health bills, focusing on vaping awareness and prevention in schools, to the House Education Policy Committee next week. HF 3166 requires schools to develop and provide evidence-based curriculum to students related to vaping and electronic cigarettes. HF 3164 establishes a pilot program to fund the curricula. Both bills have bipartisan support in the House and Senate.
