Hello!
The Minnesota Legislature is adjourned until February 11, 2020, and in the meantime I want to hear from you on how we can continue to better our community. I’ll be holding my first post-session Town Hall on Thursday, June 20, from 6-7pm at the Shakopee Public Library.
As one of the only divided state legislatures in the country, we were able to come together and produce a good budget for Minnesota, but we can always do better. I hope to see you at our Town Hall or at some point during the interim so we can talk about what went right this session, what we can do better, and how we can do that together. You can RSVP on our Facebook event page here.
I sat down with the Shakopee Valley News to talk about some of our accomplishments this year, which you can read about here, and there was also a recent letter in the paper on my legislation to help teen moms get to school, which you can read here.
Regardless of whether or not you can make it to our Town hall, I want to hear from you, especially as we reflect on this recent session and begin the process of planning for next year. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or comments you might have. You can contact me at (651) 296-8872, or rep.brad.tabke@house.mn. For more on what we’re working on at the State Capitol and in our community, subscribe and listen to The Shakopee Podcast, available on iTunes.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Brad
