Shakopee, MN - Rep. Brad Tabke (DFL-Shakopee) will be holding the first official meeting of the District 55A Senior Advisory Council on Wednesday, November 20, at the Shakopee Public Library.
“This legislative session, we worked in a bipartisan fashion with stakeholders and advocates to pass sorely-needed reforms to protect Minnesota’s seniors,” said Rep. Tabke. “From enhancing the rights of those in elder care, to tax cuts on Social Security, we’re working hard to address the issues our seniors care about. Similar to our Youth Advisory Council, we’re establishing this Senior Advisory Council to better involve our residents in the legislative process.”
