Given the widespread interest on climate in our community, I thought you and other neighbors might be interested in attending a public meeting the Climate Action Caucus is hosting on Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in St. Paul at the State Office Building, Room 5.
It will be a time to hear from health experts on climate and start a much-needed discussion on future policy as we look to the 2020 legislative session. The meeting is free and open to the public. RSVP on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/547233076066571/
Testifiers include:
- Kristin Raab (MDH)
- Bruce Snyder (Health Professionals for a Healthy Climate)
- Teddie Potter (UMN School of Nursing)
- J. Drake Hamilton (Fresh Energy)
- Eleanor Dolan (Youth Climate Strike)
