St. Paul, MN - Yesterday, the Minnesota House DFL Caucus elected State Representative Heather Keeler (DFL - Moorhead) to serve as an Assistant Caucus Leader during the 2025-2026 Legislative Biennium. As part of the caucus’ leadership team, Rep. Keeler will join Speaker-designate Melissa Hortman in leading the House DFL on the House floor and in communities across Minnesota.
“I want to thank my colleagues for the honor of serving our caucus and our state in this leadership role,” said Rep. Keeler. “As we look to the new biennium and its unique opportunities, I’ll be able to use this position to capitalize on my record of producing bipartisan results. I’m excited to work with colleagues on both sides of the aisle to bring more voices and experiences to the table, especially those throughout our community, Greater Minnesota, and Tribal Nations”
Rep. Keeler, who will begin her 3rd consecutive term in the Minnesota House next year, will be the most senior member of the House DFL’s Assistant Caucus Leaders. The 2025 Legislative Session convenes on January 14 at noon.
