SAINT PAUL – State Representative Spencer Igo, R-Wabana Township, released the following statement on the first week of the 2024 legislative session:
“It has been good to be back in St. Paul this week for the start of what’s sure to be another busy year,” said Igo. “While there are many challenges facing Minnesota including a projected budget deficit in the very near future, I am nevertheless committed to continue fighting for our communities and region. This includes tackling permitting reform, supporting responsible mining opportunities, and working to lower the financial burden that families have been feeling due to high levels of inflation. Together, we can build a strong regional economy that supports families now and into the future.”
