Anna.Olson@house.mn.gov News Release Igo Takes Oath of Office, Announces Committee Assignments for 2025-2026 Legislative Session St. Paul, MN — Minnesota’s 2025-2026 Legislative Session officially began January 14th as Rep. Spencer Igo, R-Wabana Township, and 66 other state representatives took the oath of office during an official ceremony at the State Capitol in St. Paul. Representative Igo is looking forward to serving as chair of the Housing Finance and Policy Committee. He will also be on both the Energy Finance and Policy and Ways and Means Committees. Igo said, “It’s an honor to be trusted with the responsibility of being a voice for the people of district 7A. I do not take this task lightly and I am eager to continue to make positive change for Minnesota." Rep. Igo would like to hear his constituents’ ideas, concerns, and questions.
