October Revenue Report Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB) is reporting state general fund revenue was $657 million above the forecasted amount for the first quarter of Fiscal Year 2022, beginning July 1. The latest MMB information compares actual receipts for July, August and September of 2021 to receipts projected by the February 2021 Budget Forecast. These projections were adjusted to consider laws enacted after that projection for the same period. The budget forecast is only a projection, and many factors remain unknown. As the recovery evolves, I will continue to prioritize investments in our families, businesses, and schools. We want everyone to thrive as we get through the pandemic challenges.
