ST. PAUL – Minnesota State Representative Liz Reyer (DFL - Eagan) has been selected to join the 2023-24 class of the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP), a 10-month leadership program for early and mid-career legislative and executive branch state and large-county government officials who are committed to bringing a health equity lens to their work to improve population health. The program is convened and funded by the Milbank Memorial Fund, a nonpartisan foundation focused on improving population health and health equity. The program includes 27 leaders representing 21 states, three large counties and Washington, D.C.
“I am honored to be selected to attend this prestigious leadership program”, said Rep. Reyer. “I am excited to bring lessons learned home to better represent my community and the Minnesota House of Representatives.”
Through ELP, the Fund, working in partnership with a nationally recognized leadership consultant, will support the participants in:
