Legislative Update - Tomorrow's Town Hall

Wednesday, February 10, 2021

Esther Header

Dear Neighbors,

Quick reminder that tomorrow evening, Feb. 11, is our District 59 Town Hall. We’re going to be meeting at 7pm on Facebook Live, where we’ll discuss the latest on our legislative work and answer questions from the community.

We’ll have some special guests joining us, and I hope you can too!

United Black Legislative Caucus

Today, the United Black Legislative Caucus announced our priorities for the 2021 legislative session - priorities that are aimed at addressing disparities regarding economic opportunity, housing, education, health and human services, public safety, transportation, and environmental justice. When Minnesota bounces back from the COVID-19 pandemic, we need to make sure that recovery doesn’t leave anyone behind, including Black Minnesotans.

UBLC

You can follow the work of the United Black Legislative Caucus on our Facebook page, and you can watch the announcement of our priorities here. We’ll also be holding a virtual community event on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 11am. We’ll be posting more information on the UBLC Facebook page.

Regardless of whether you’re able to make it to any of these events, feel free to reach out to me with any questions or comments you may have on our work in the Minnesota House. You can reach me at either (651) 296-8659 or rep.esther.agbaje@house.mn. You can also “like'' and follow my official Facebook page or subscribe to these updates to stay connected. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Esther Agbaje
