SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Today, Rep. Mary Frances Clardy (DFL-Inver Grove Heights) hosted the House Capital Investment Committee in Mendota Heights during their 2023 Bonding Tour.
The committee is touring sites for proposed capital investment throughout the state and visited the Mendota Heights Police Department and City Hall. The City is seeking $15 million from the Legislature to help renovate both facilities.
“Mendota Heights has done a phenomenal job providing essential public safety and city services to residents,” said Rep. Clardy. “Partnering with the state to invest in this project will help keep more people in our community safe, create more efficiency and access to the city services we all rely on, and generate family-sustaining jobs in the process. I look forward to continuing the work when the legislative session gets underway in February.”
