St. Paul, Minn.— Representative Mary Frances Clardy (DFL-Inver Grove Heights) has earned an honorary state degree from the Minnesota Future of Agriculture (FFA) Foundation for her outstanding contributions and support of school-based agricultural education. In 2023, Rep. Clardy secured a $322,000 funding boost for FFA as a provision in the K-12 Education Budget bill.
“I’m honored to have received this honorary degree from Minnesota’s FFA Foundation,” said Rep. Clardy, who serves as the vice chair on the House Education Finance Committee. “We need to make sure school-based agricultural education is available for this generation and all Future Farmers of America.”
