Minneapolis, MN – This week, House members of the DFL Minneapolis Delegation met to discuss priorities and elect their leadership for the 2025-2026 biennium. Members voted to re-appoint Representative Samantha Sencer-Mura (DFL-Minneapolis) as the Chair, and member-elect Katie Jones (DFL-Minneapolis) as Vice-Chair of the delegation.
Rep. Sencer-Mura released the following statement:
“At a time when progressive cities across the country will be under attack, I’m proud to represent and advocate for the people of Minneapolis at the State Capitol. Our delegation is committed to ensuring our most vulnerable populations are protected in this next era, and that our city’s unique needs as the economic driver for our state, still in recovery from the challenging last few years, are recognized. Minnesota thrives when Minneapolis thrives, and I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues across the state to do what’s best for our communities.”
