Rep. Knudsen Statement on the Passage of School Resource Officer Fix Bill Saint Paul, MN — This afternoon the Minnesota House of Representatives passed HF 3489 on a vote of 124 to 8. After months of Republican calls for a fix, this bill will return School Resource Officers after many school districts removed them in response to legislation passed last year. “I’m glad we could finally get this important legislation to a place that will work for all Minnesotans and get SROs back in the schools where they are desperately needed.” Said Representative Krista Knudsen (R – Lake Shore) “I’ve heard from students, parents, and teachers about how necessary resource officers are to their schools.
