Legislative Update

Friends and Neighbors,

I was shocked to receive the news Saturday evening that there had been an attempted assassination of President Trump. My prayers are with President Trump, those injured and killed and killed, their families, and all those who had to experience this heinous act. It is unimaginable that in a nation built on the ideals of representative democracy a single person could try to take away the voice of millions of Americans who support and vote for President Trump.

I pray we will not forget that our country is founded on the individual's right to peaceful assembly and free dissent. It is my hope that our nation will unite in the memory that we are all participants in this experiment in self-governance and that we must collectively strive for the prosperity of our great nation, regardless of our positions across any divide.

60 Day Deadline

Thank You!

I look forward to starting my newsletters up again in the next biennium and sharing my legislative goals and priorities with you. Thank you for your continued attention to everything going on at the state capitol.

As we head into election season be sure to use the state's great resources to find your poling place and stay informed so that your voice can be heard.
