St. Paul - Minnesota's 2025 Legislative Session officially began January 14 with Tom Murphy (R-Underwood) and other state representatives being sworn into office during a ceremony at the State Capitol.
"It is truly an honor to serve as the voice for the residents of District 9B,” Murphy said. “I am excited to fight for their needs in St. Paul.”
Most of Rep. Murphy’s work during the first months of session will take place in House committees. Murphy will serve as the vice-chair of the House Energy Finance and Policy Committee and will also serve on the Human Services Finance and Policy and Transportation Finance and Policy committees for the next two years.
