ST. PAUL – Walter Hudson officially is Rep. Walter Hudson, a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives after performing the oath of office with the 93rd Legislature that was installed Tuesday at the Capitol.
Hudson, a member of the Albertville City Council and resident of that city, was elected to the House in November and fills the newly configured District 30A seat. The district includes northeastern Wright County – with its border butting up to Rockford to the south and encompassing Hanover, St. Michael, Albertville, and most of Otsego.
“It’s a tremendous honor to represent the residents of northeastern Wright County,” said Hudson, has been selected to serve House committees on public safety, and children and families. “I’m looking forward to getting down to business and ensuring that the governing majority in St. Paul understands the impact its proposals will have on Minnesotans across the state.”
Hudson, an operations manager for a logistics company, is married with two children. He encourages constituents to provide him with input throughout the year, especially during the session. Hudson can be reached at his legislative office by calling (651) 296-1534 or by emailing rep.walter.hudson@house.mn.gov. Hudson also said he intends to provide periodic email updates and citizens can sign up to receive them on his personal page at the official House website: www.house.mn.
