SAINT PAUL, Minn. – On Friday, February 2, Rep. Matt Norris (DFL - Blaine) was appointed as one of the members of the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission. Rep. Norris released the following statement in response to the appointment.
“Blaine serves as the hub for amateur sports in Minnesota, and I look forward to representing our robust sports community on this commission,” said Rep. Norris. “I would like to thank Speaker Hortman for this appointment. This is a topic that is very close to my and my community's heart, so I will work diligently on this commission to ensure Minnesota amateur sports is headed in the right direction.”
