St. Paul, MN – State Representative Josiah Hill (DFL - Stillwater) announced that on Aug. 1, St Croix River Valley nursing homes received a significant amount of new state funding as part of a bipartisan agreement to stabilize a sector of the economy that is facing financial hardship. Local nursing homes will receive another significant one-time payment on Aug. 1, 2024.
“These critical funds will directly support our most vulnerable residents and the workers who care for them,” said Rep. Hill. “I’m proud that we were able to allocate such a significant amount of funding to help nursing homes get back on their feet and provide quality care.”
Of these initial investments, nearly $3 million has been delivered to nursing homes in Rep. Hill’s district on Aug. 1, including:

$429,842 The Estates at Linden, Stillwater
$425,826 Good Sam Society, Stillwater
$626,651 Birchwood Health Care Center, Forest Lake
$658,783 Gables of Boutwells Landing, Oak Park Heights
