Dear Neighbors,
This past Monday, I held my 7th town hall meeting of the year. Each one of these meetings is an opportunity to hear firsthand from you and your neighbors about what’s important in Your Backyard and to discuss positive solutions to those priorities.
Monday’s event was held at Lord Fletcher’s and more than 60 people from both sides of the aisle and local leaders showed up to talk about the importance of protecting the environment, investing in mental health care, strengthening our schools, improving safety on Highway 7, making Minnesota more affordable for families, important local projects like the Excelsior Commons, and much more. It was also great to see many other suburban GOP House members in attendance listening to the priorities of residents in my district.
It was a great time and showed me once again that if suburban Minnesotans come together and talk about the issues with a mutual respect for one another, we can find reasonable solutions that work for all of us and restore balance to your priorities.
I will be hosting similar events in the future, so please be sure to attend if you are able! More details to come.
In the meantime, please continue to reach out to my office if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or would just like to chat. I can be reached at 651-296-9188 or rep.andrew.myers@house.mn.gov.
Have a great day,
Andrew
