St. Paul, MN – Representative Andrew Myers (R, Tonka Bay) has been elected as an Assistant Leader for the House Republican Caucus, a position that underscores the trust and confidence of his colleagues. In this leadership role, Myers will continue his commitment to representing families across Minnesota and create opportunities to find common ground through reasonable and balanced solutions.
“I am honored by the trust and confidence my colleagues have placed in me,” Myers said. “In this role, I will remain focused on balanced solutions to the priorities of suburban families and families across Minnesota. Voters have made it clear they want thoughtful leadership that listens, learns, and leads on the issues that matter most—whether it’s ensuring safe communities, supporting strong schools, protecting clean water, supporting mental health access, or providing economic stability.”
Myers emphasized the importance of a solutions-focused approach, promising to continue his collaborative mindset to address our top priorities. He pledged to work tirelessly to represent his district and the broader interests of Minnesotans, ensuring their voices are heard in shaping policies that create a more flourishing Minnesota.
Myers was first elected in 2022 to District 45A representing 11 cities in Hennepin County. Myers is also the co-founder of the Suburban Solutions Caucus, and won his first reelection effort just two weeks ago by almost doubling his previous margin, winning by 10 percentage points.
