St. Paul, Minn.--- Today Minnesota State Patrol Colonel Matt Langer, who has served the state for over 25 years, retired. Representative Lucy Rehm (DFL-Chanhassen), delivered a House Resolution praising his work for the state of Minnesota, and released the following statement:
“The news of Colonel Langer’s retirement is bittersweet. I've greatly appreciated the opportunity to work with him to strengthen the Minnesota Toward Zero Deaths program and our "hands-free" cell phone law. I am honored to be able to commemorate his years of service and accomplishments for communities across our state with this House Resolution.
“Thank you for being so dedicated to keeping all of us safe in Minnesota.”
