St. Paul, MN - Today, House DFL Leader Melissa Hortman announced a bipartisan power-sharing agreement that allowed the Minnesota House to begin conducting business during today’s session. Rep. Lucy Rehm (DFL-Chanhassen) released the following statement:
“After weeks of negotiations, I’m glad my GOP colleagues have accepted the DFL’s offer and at long last agreed to honor the will of the voters in Shakopee and statewide. This compromise will allow all of us to move forward efficiently in a bipartisan fashion to continue making significant progress on making health care more affordable, our roads safer, and improving the lives of the great people of Chanhassen and Chaska.”
