Rep. Allen Sworn in for First Term, Committee Assignments St. Paul, MN — Minnesota’s 2025 Legislative Session officially began January 14th as Rep. Keith Allen, R-Kenyon, and 66 other state representatives took the oath of office during an official ceremony at the State Capitol in St. Paul. The weeks leading up to this session have been unprecedented, chaotic, and confusing, to say the least. There is at least one thing that remains true: Allen and his GOP colleagues are committed to their legislative duties as public servants for the people of Minnesota. Rep. Allen is a lifelong Kenyon resident and longtime participant in the small business and agriculture industry, Allen hopes to bring this perspective to St. Paul as he begins his first term as state representative. Although Democrat representatives have decided to skip out on official legislative duties, there has been no change to the plan of Republican leadership and representatives. These members have promised to continue showing up for work for the citizens of Minnesota. As he seeks to best represent the people of 19A, Allen is looking forward to serving on the Capital Investment, Commerce Finance and Policy, and Higher Education Finance and Policy committees this 2025-2026 biennium. Rep. Allen would like to hear from the people of 19A about ideas, concerns, and questions. He can be reached by phone at 651-296-8237, by email at rep.keith.allen@house.mn.gov, or by mail to 2223 Centennial Office Building, St. Paul, MN 55155. Residents are also invited to subscribe to Allen’s email newsletter, which will be periodically sent out, will include highlights of what Rep. Allen is doing at the Capitol and summary of other happenings. To sign up, visit Rep. Allen’s member page at house.mn.gov and click on the link next to “Email Updates” next to his photo.
