Legislative UpdateDear friends and neighbors, On January 14th 2025, I was one of 67 House Republicans sworn in for my first term. I am honored to represent 28B and ready to work. House updates I will sit on the Commerce Finance and Policy Committee, Education Finance Committee, and Capital Investment Committee. I am focused on making Minnesota affordable, which is one of the six pillars House Republicans will be focusing on this session. I will be fighting for the taxpayer and restoring fiscal responsibility in the government – and creating a better small business environment in Minnesota. Fraud will also be seriously tackled by investigating every single department for it. I will also be focusing on restoring the education system. Reversing the heavy-handed policies implemented by the DFL trifecta over the past few years. Reprioritizing the needs of Minnesotans infrastructure and supporting and uplifting public safety officials and officers. The first bill I have chief authored will be to ensure local authorities are reporting illegal immigrant crime to federal authorities. Stay tuned on that! While the Democrats have chosen not to show up for legislative sessions and committee meetings, abandoning their responsibilities to the people of Minnesota, myself and other House Republicans remain dedicated to the work at hand. We are here every day, advancing policies that prioritize the needs of Minnesotans and ensuring that their voices are represented in the decision-making process. |
