HF 1354 (Moller) Scope of video made available by Bureau of Criminal Apprehension limited for officer-involved death investigations. *
*A DE to HF 1354 will be posted when it is available. The DE will contain language that will make up the House Public Safety Policy bill. Please see PDF attachment with a list of bills that will be included.
HF 1901 (Moller) School safety provisions modified, anonymous threat reporting system grants provided for schools, active shooter incidents and active shooter threats reporting required, Minnesota Fusion Center reporting modified, report required, and money appropriated.
HF 2124 (Hussein) Ramsey County Sheriff's Office grant provided for event security and community engagement, and money appropriated.
HF 2130 (Kraft) Length of driver's license revocations related to certain offenses, length of time individuals must participate in the ignition interlock program modified, and ignition interlock program participants required to complete a treatment or rehabilitation program before reinstatement of full driving privileges.
HF 2260 (Curran) Department of Human Services policy bill sections modified on background studies, fraud prevention, Department of Corrections reconsiderations, kickback crimes, and appeals divisions worker protections; and criminal penalties provided. *
*Testimony and discussion of HF 2260 will focus on the provisions that fall within the Public Safety Committee’s jurisdiction. Section 27 related to criminal penalties.
HF 2099 (Johnson, P) Local government emergency management provided, reports required, and money appropriated.
HF 104 (Feist) Confidentiality established for restorative justice practices participants, and data classified. *
*No further testimony will be taken on HF 104. The bill was heard in the Public Safety Committee on March 26, 2025, where public testimony was taken.
HF 134 (Feist) Violence prevention project research center funding provided, and money appropriated.
HF 1769 (Feist) Community supervision funding provided, and money appropriated.
