SAINT PAUL, MN. – Tuesday, March 18 at 2:35 p.m., the House and Senate DFL will hold a press conference to announce major proposed reforms to laws governing Manufactured Home Parks, alongside park residents. The Manufactured Home Park Resident Bill of Rights would make significant changes to resident rights, owner responsibilities, and maximum allowable rent increases. The proposed legislation is in response to a chorus of resident concerns and numerous media reports of problems plaguing manufactured home parks throughout the state.
