CAPITAL INVESTMENT FINANCE DIVISION COMMITTEE
MINUTES
Representative Alice Hausman, Chair of the Capital Investment Committee, called the meeting to order at 2:25 p.m. on Thursday, February 28, 2008, in Room 5 of the State Office Building. The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll. A quorum was present.

Rep. Scalze assumed the chair at 2:36 p.m.
HF 3166 (Hausman) Relating to capital investment; establishing a biomedical science research facilities funding program for the University of Minnesota; appropriating money; proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 137.
Rep. Hausman moved that HF 3166 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Capital Investment bill.

Rep. Berns moved to amend HF 3166, see attached amendment AN-A14.

MOTION PREVAILED, THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED
Rep. Hausman renewed the motion that HF 3166, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the Omnibus Capital Investment bill.
