HF 448 (Mullery): A bill for an act relating to public safety; repealing the program that involved mailed demands that vehicle owners provide verification of auto insurance; repealing Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 169.796, subdivision 3; Laws 2005, First Special Session chapter 6, article 3, section 91.
Representative Mullery presented HF 448.
Representative Cornish moved that HF 448 be recommended to pass, and when so passed, be placed on the Consent Calendar. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 230 (Mullery): A bill for an act relating to crime; amending the predatory offender registration law for other offenses; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 243.167, subdivision 1.
Representative Mullery moved adoption of the
H0230A2 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Mullery presented HF 230.

Representative Mullery moved adoption of the
H0584DE3 delete everything amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Lillie laid the bill over for possible inclusion in the Public Safety and Civil Justice Policy Committee omnibus bill.

HF 415 (Poppe): A bill for an relating to the environment; modifying exemptions to noise standards; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 116.07, subdivision 2a.
Representative Johnson moved HF 415 before the committee.
Representative Johnson moved adoption of the
H0415A3 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Poppe presented HF 415, as amended.

HF 1033 (Simon): A bill for an act relating to crime victims; expanding the protection against employer retaliation; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 611A.036, subdivision 2, 7.
